(pronounced “JAY-mee”)
I'm a 4th-year student at the University of California, Irvine pursuing a B.S. in Informatics with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction.
I'm a first-generation college student who's passionate about design and disability advocacy. After having to take a year off from college due to my chronic illness, I shared my story on social media as well as the impacts of COVID-19 on immunocompromised people. I became aware of my ability to represent the disability community, make an impact, and educate others.
I’ve had the privilege to serve as a UCI representative on the UC System Disability Committee and a Student Chair of a task force with disabled students, staff, and faculty to plan a Disability Cultural Center at UCI.
